Log Cabins
We have been staining log cabins since we moved to North Carolina over ten years ago. There are plenty of painters who will tell you they can stain, however, staining is much more than spraying on a stain and rolling it in.
Different woods react to different stains and stain colors. You should always test your products on your wood in an inconspicous place before you begin any project. Your surface must be lightly sanded and prepped before you begin or there is really no point in a new application.
We do not apply stain in a rush. We believe the staining process is just that, a process; consisting of several steps where the most important step is hand rubbing the stain into your wood. Just like a fine furniture finisher, we apply your stain to enhance the look of your logs and to last for years to come.
